The Property:
Keuka Made is a 3-home compound on 108’ of beautiful East side Keuka lake front with two permanent docks, 9 total bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 4 full kitchens, decks galore, and parking for 15 cars. We typically host summer vacationers in the two cottages and crafting groups in the “big house” during the off season. We are fortunate to spend a lot of time on the lake ourselves over the summer, but often get requests for bigger groups who would like to rent multiple houses for a family reunion, college reunion, creative retreat, or whatever! Please note that we cannot accommodate large parties/weddings and permission is required for more than 4 guests beyond what the rented house(s) sleep. All together we can comfortably sleep 24 people with space to come together and space to get a little time apart during your stay as well. For 2027 we have put together a schedule of weeks with availability to book multiple houses together, which can only be booked directly with us (not through Airbnb).
The Houses:
Sunny Maple (SM) - Right on the water with a private patio & brand new permanent dock, plus some wade-in beach. Sleeps 8 in 3 Bedrooms (2 Kings with lake view, 1 Queen in the back), 2 Full Bathrooms, pull-out couch in the living room. Brand new HVAC with heat/AC controls in each bedroom. Perfect for 3 couples or a large family.
Shady Oak (SO) - Large lawn on the water with a brand new permanent dock, all the water toys, and lots of shady deck space. Sleeps 6 in 3 Bedrooms (Upstairs bedroom 1 has a Queen and the best view on the lake, Upstairs bedroom 2 has a twin w/twin trundle, Downstairs bedroom has a twin w/twin trundle and a great lake view. Note that staircase is a spiral stairs and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues). 1 full bathroom on the first floor.
Keuka Made (KM, aka the Big House) - This 2800 sqft newer build sits directly across the lower road from the cottages with a massive two-story glass-railing deck for outdoor dining and enjoying the lake view. This home is set up with our crafting groups in mind and sleeps 10 people in 10 separate beds. The top floor has a full kitchen, living room and bath plus two bedrooms with 3 twin beds each. The middle floor has another full kitchen, bathroom and living room, plus the crafting space that can accommodate twelve 6’ tables arranged for crafting/board games or one long table to host your Thanksgiving dinner for 20. The middle floor bedroom has two double beds, plus a twin with a trundle. The garage/basement level is private and used for storage and mechanics.

Our favorite features:
- The lake (obviously). The shoreline drops off so that the water is 13’ at the end of the docks. The new, permanent docks are there for you to enjoy in any season and we provide kayaks, stand up paddleboard, life jackets and more.
- The lower lake road. You can walk for 5 miles on this low-traffic pedestrian-friendly road, or bring your bike and do a loop all the way around the lake. Shady and Sunny are dog-friendly with a small additional cleaning fee if you’d like to bring your walking buddy.
- The location. We are ½ mile North of the Olney place where you can (seasonally) grab a sandwich or a beer. Within 10 miles we have 15 Keuka and Seneca wineries, convenient grocery shopping and great restaurants in Penn Yan, the Switz, the Windmill market, and the best farm stands. It’s only 20 minutes to Hammondsport, 30 minutes to Watkins, 40 minutes to Geneva and 50 minutes to Canandaigua or Corning, or 60 minutes to Ithaca, so it’s a great launching point to explore the region.
- The space. We have had friends and family here and there’s nothing better than being close enough to gather when you want to and spread out enough to have your own space to rest and recharge.
